Nearly 8 years ago, when I was a member of Students Scientific Geography Association one of my colleagues got an idea to create a website about modern geography. 

The main purpose of that website was providing the most up-to-date information, articles and news about whole geographical world. We distinguished the subpages - geographical subfields and next we started to manage them. This project was working very nice, but unfortunately after couple of months we started to have a short workforce. Finally since 2010 the website is down, but still available here.

This project inspired me to create my own geographic platform, where I can share my geographic interests with rest of the world. Since autumn 2013

I have been recovering the role of that project. First I created the Geopassion group on the Facebook social media. Next I decided to create completely new website - new geographic platform for everybody.
The aim isn't was it was nearly 8 years ago. I won't upgrade news every day.

I will prepare this platform mainly as a huge linkbase to the geographic stuff.

I would like to create geographic platform as a place, where you can quickly find a way to stuff, what you want. Today we have a lot of information in the Web, but not always we have time to find something quickly. I hope, that this platform will be helpful and reduce your time for information searching. I am going to make this platform as new as possible with links, software, etc. Besides I will try to keep some signature stuff to help you create the maps, graphs, etc.
